Erick Robinson
Experienced Patent Litigator
and Trial Lawyer

Erick Robinson has been successfully litigating and trying patent cases in the US and worldwide 25 years. He is a US patent lawyer admitted to the United States Patent and Trademark office with experience at some of the largest law firms in the world. He also has in-house experience at Qualcomm and Red Hat. He has been based in India, China, and Europe, and therefore understands that often enforcing patents is a worldwide affair.
Erick's main focus is on contingency fee patent litigation in the US, including District Courts and the ITC as well as the PTAB. Unlike many big firms that shun patent owners, Spencer Fane and Erick Robinson are proud to represent innovators against infringers of all sizes. With one of the largest litigation practices in Texas, we regularly go up against any defendant, including the large Silicon Valley BigTech companies.
Erick has a background in computer science, electronics, and biotechnology. His Doctor of Jurisprudence is from the University of Texas School of Law and his bachelor's degree is from Pomona College.
He has been awarded many honors, including the following:
